This Spring I was in Minnesota with family and we stopped at a gift shop that had some cute quotes on different things. Here are some of them for your reading pleasure. Keep in mind there are around 15,000 lakes in Minnesota.

While kayaking the other day on the South Fork of the American River I saw some raft trains going down river.
I took this picture on September 7th of 2015 just up river from the Salmon Falls Rd bridge on the edge of the South Fork of the American River. These 2 were taken the same day just down river from the same bridge. I saw this water wheel on Google Maps and wanted to see if it was still there. Sure enough it was. Overlooking the Palladio in Folsom, Ca. In the distance the small plane acrobats are practicing for the Capital City Airshow. And the sun sets the sky a glow. On another night the sun is setting over the Nimbus Dam. It’s time to go home. As the sun sets on another day.
I was hoping to see more of the river on this hike but it was great exercise. This trail has some great views of the area and the river canyon. At times this trail can be very rocky and steep and dusty. The lake level was much higher than I have seen for quite some time.
